PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT WITHOUT READING

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT:

  • If you have previous permanent makeup done elsewhere, do not book an appointment without approval. To get approval, please email a clear, unfiltered, front-facing photo to pariabedini@icloud.com. Appointment times are lengthy, and your artist’s time is valuable. If your previous permanent makeup is too dark or saturated to work over, you will still be charged in full for the appointment time. Prior approval is necessary to avoid this.
  • Drink plenty of water in the weeks leading up to your appointment. Hydration not only prepares your skin for the session but also benefits the healing process.
  • Avoid Retin-A and AHA skincare products for at least 2 weeks before the appointment.
  • If you use Accutane, you must be off the medication for 1 year prior to the procedure.
  • Do not tan or have a sunburned face. If this occurs, we cannot proceed with your brows or lips, resulting in a cancellation fee.
  • Avoid Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen for 24 hours before your procedure.
  • No alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
  • If you are a regular coffee drinker, you may have one cup of coffee on the morning of your appointment but avoid excessive caffeine.
  • No waxing or tinting for at least 3 days prior to the procedure.
  • Do not apply your own numbing creams prior to the appointment.
  • If you are currently taking antibiotics, do not book your appointment until 2 weeks after your last dose.
  • Allow 14 days for your new permanent makeup to heal properly. Avoid scheduling your appointment before vacations, events, photoshoots, or any period when you cannot adequately care for your cosmetic tattoo.
  • Avoid niacin, fish oil, aspirin, Vitamin E, or ibuprofen for 48-72 hours prior to the procedure unless medically necessary. You may take Tylenol.

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT:

  • Wash your hands before touching or applying any product to the area.
  • Maintain facial hygiene, cleanse brows/lips, and apply your healing balm according to the aftercare instructions provided at your appointment.
  • Do not stand directly under the shower head or get the area completely wet.
  • Itching is normal—DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR RUB the tattoo.
  • Allow the area to flake on its own to preserve the tattoo.
  • Avoid sun exposure as much as possible afterward.
  • Never lay in a tanning bed, as it will not only damage your skin but also destroy the quality of your permanent makeup.
  • Additional aftercare instructions will be discussed at your appointment.

On the Day of Your Procedure:

  • Skip wearing any eyebrow makeup.

  • Refrain from consuming alcohol or caffeine to help minimize swelling or oozing.

Additional Recommendations:

  • Eyebrow tinting should be done at least 48 hours before or two weeks after your procedure.

  • Avoid tweezing or waxing your eyebrows at least 48 hours before, and refrain from electrolysis for at least five days beforehand.
  • Post-procedure, do not resume any form of hair removal for at least two weeks.

Important Note: Sensitivity may be heightened during your menstrual cycle.

AFTER CARE

Aftercare Instructions:

  • Gently clean your eyebrows with sterile or bottled water and a cotton pad every hour following your procedure, continuing until bedtime.
  • Important: You can get your eyebrows wet, but avoid soaking them.
  • If your eyebrows become excessively dry or scab too much, you may apply a small amount of Aquaphor or a similar ointment once daily, starting on the third day post-procedure.
  • Avoid using cleansers, creams, makeup, Neosporin, or any other products on the treated area for 10 days.
  • Do not rub, pick, or scratch the treated areas. Allow any scabbing or dry skin to shed naturally—picking can lead to scarring.
  • Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning for two weeks after the procedure.
  • Refrain from heavy sweating for the first 10 days to reduce the risk of infection.
  • Avoid swimming, saunas, the beach, or similar environments for at least 14 days to prevent infection.
